The Clube de Montanha do Funchal, in partnership with the Retoiça - Associação Cultural, Desportiva e Recreativa, will organize the Madeira Orienteering Festival (MOF) on January 8, 9, and 10, 2027. Sanctioned by the Portuguese Orienteering Federation, it will be the first event on the 2027 calendar. MOF 2027 will feature four distinct stages held at various locations across the Autonomous Region of Madeira.

The MOF is a foot orienteering event comprising two sprint stages and two middle-distance races. The event is open to participants of all ages, who may compete in either competitive or open categories, either individually or in groups. We invite all orienteering enthusiasts to take part in this upcoming event and extend a warm welcome to everyone.
