Many many thanks to all the organisers of Madeira Orienteering Festival for putting on another great edition in 2026.

You keep finding ways to improve and vary things to keep it fresh and challenging for the competitors! I was particularly impressed with how you managed to put on so many high quality events back to back so effectively - there must have been some very late nights and early mornings!

All the British competitors I spoke to were very complimentary too.

Thanks again, and see you in January 2027 :-)

Once again MOF was the perfect highlight to start the new (orienteering) season. Challenging courses, exciting maps and excellent organisation. Madeira has everything to offer for orienteers looking for an exotic adventure. Thank you MOF2026!

Dear CMoF and Camacha team

I would like to forward a big thank you from my Norwegian friends and my former team, POL (from Porsgrunn, Norway, with several members competing at Norwegian elite level). They all agreed that MOF was a fantastically well-organized event.

They also achieved excellent results, winning both H55 and H65.

I am very sure my Norwegian friends will spread the word about Madeira and MOF. They have already expressed strong interest in coming back another year.

As for myself, finishing 2nd in H60, I am also very thankful for the excellent organization of the event. Thank you all!

Running the same course in H55/H60 led to many good discussions among my friends and me about the high quality of the courses designed by Tiago. A special thank you to you for that.
